Tucked away from the picturesque streets of Marylebone, through an archway that opens up to a spacious courtyard, stands 42 Wigmore Street, home to financial planning firm TrinityBridge’s new high-quality London headquarters.
Peldon Rose designed and delivered the 13,000 sq ft workplace, navigating tight building constraints and concurring Cat A works to ensure a successful outcome.
The 14-week programme was marked by an exceptionally smooth construction phase as the team implemented careful, considered planning to drive seamless project progression.
Peldon Rose took the entire six-floor building under its wing to successfully deliver TrinityBridge’s new workplace. The team navigated concurring Cat A works, including designing the space based off an incomplete building configuration, while maintaining a fluid programme of works.
Key to success was the close client relationship and Peldon Rose went the extra mile to coordinate its programme around ongoing building works, including condensing the furniture delivery and installation timelines.
Planning was integral to construction, with the team making granular logistical breakdowns around installation works, particularly important given the tight spatial constraints and narrow arterial building routes.
42 Wigmore Street has an array of sustainability accreditations including WELL Gold, BREEAM Outstanding, ActiveScore Gold, WiredScore Gold, and a 4.5 star NABERS rating. Peldon Rose designed in line with these certifications to maintain the outstanding level of operational efficiency the building boasts.
Peldon Rose incorporated a commercial-grade gym on the lower ground floor, featuring high-quality equipment and free weights. Implementation required floor modification so the foundation could withstand the extra weight upon it and the team carried out the works seamlessly.
42 Wigmore Street features a media room on the lower ground floor, complete with high-quality recording equipment and acoustic integrity. Peldon Rose coordinated with a number of contractors to deliver the space, taking all parties under its wing and driving a cohesive approach to ensure successful delivery.
The media room is located next to the commercial-grade gym, making structural and acoustic integrity critical. Peldon Rose managed construction of the two juxtaposing rooms with careful consideration to the high-quality operational efficiency of both spaces, without compromising on calibre.
Throughout the building, emphasis is placed on open plan space and comfortable settings for serendipitous collaboration as well as ample room for focused work.
A large breakout space sits on the third floor, designed to promote social connection, comfort, and culture. Peldon Rose implemented varied settings including banquettes, a breakfast bar, and both small and large communal tables, punctuated by biophilia throughout.
An array of high-spec, versatile meeting rooms sit on the fourth floor, boasting abundant natural light and a sophisticated aesthetic. Peldon Rose designed the office floor as dedicated meeting room space, allowing for enhanced openness and greater dimension throughout the rest of the building.
The team took the client through furniture showroom tours and worked in close collaboration to secure pieces that embodied the high-end residential aesthetic that is a theme throughout the workplace.
