We worked with property consultancy Allsop to deliver an in-situ refurbishment in their Wigmore Street offices. The office refurbishment focused primarily on the front of house meeting suite and central breakout space. The office was still fully operational, so we coordinated our works around them to ensure that any disruptions were kept to a minimum.
Allsop’s goal was to make their clients and staff feel welcome and comfortable when entering their offices. The main incentive for change was creating space for staff where they could easily collaborate and build new connections across the separate floors. Our design focuses on connecting people by providing spaces that encourage greater integration within the business.
The office is across two floors, so the tea point serves as the main communal area for staff. The breakout space had previously been split from the tea point and was behind a closed door, so our aim with the refurbishment was to create a multipurpose space that was suitable for everyday use. We installed meeting pods to allow staff to use it as an informal meeting space as well as a breakout area to encourage staff to get away from their desks. In the meeting rooms we carried out a light refurbishment and replaced the flooring, doors and furniture. In the boardroom we installed new furniture to create a smart modern space that would be large enough to host events.
