TomTom, the global leader in navigation, came to Peldon Rose with a challenge. They were in their 10,000 sq ft office space in Euston Tower but needed a full refurbishment to make better use of the working environment and enhance their meeting spaces. Office Space in Town own the serviced offices in Euston Tower and we were able to deliver a new interior design at the centrally located Euston Tower offices.
As this project was a full office refurbishment while the client was in occupation, we split the project in to four different phases and through careful planning we demonstrated to TomTom how we could choreograph the movement of staff and building works to avoid disruption to their working lives. Ultimately it was this work which enabled us to deliver a quick project turnaround, which impressed TomTom and earned us the office refurbishment programme.
The design concept for their office was to keep it clean, simple and reflect their core values as well as showcasing the company’s products. To help create a great first impression when guests arrive and remind staff of their product range, we created striking digital display walls in reception and communal areas. As they are in the iconic Euston Tower, we created the London skyline graphics to accompany their branding for the manifestations on meeting rooms. These rooms all made extensive use of glass partitions to maximise daylight in to the workspace.
Creating a multifunctional space was key, so we created a large kitchen breakout area which included two standing tables suitable for eating and meeting, as well as sit down tables and chairs. Through the use of bright accent colours, we were able to create a vibrant refreshing place for staff to retreat to from their workstation desks.
