David is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) with over 25 years’ experience, including 13 years as an Architect on residential, public, and school buildings. A chance encounter with James Cornwell on a fishing trip introduced him to Design and Build, and he has never looked back, spending the past 12 years as a Technical Designer in the commercial Design and Build sector.
Now Head of Technical Design at Peldon Rose, David acts as the bridge between creativity and delivery. From the first client enquiry, he ensures promises are practical and achievable, supporting his team with solutions, drawings, and visualisations to bring ideas to life. He particularly enjoys being on-site, helping teams realise the vision whether through advanced technology or a quick sketch on plasterboard.
Outside work, David is a passionate triathlete (although he’s not sure how that happened) and enjoys “van life” holidays with his family, often combining travel, racing, and unforgettable podium moments.
