30th March: Latest update from JP, CEO Peldon Rose

30 March 2020. News.

At Peldon Rose, we pride ourselves on building clients for life, and I’m truly grateful for the way that our clients, our partners and suppliers have worked with us during what has been a challenging time for everyone.

Last week we made the decision to temporarily suspend on-site operations on certain construction sites where teams are unable to work safely within Government and Public Health England guidelines. It’s a decision we haven’t taken lightly, but we see safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders as our top priority, and we believe this is the right thing to do.

We will continue to monitor the Government’s guidance over the coming weeks and plan for remobilisation when we’re sure the time is right.

Maintaining your building

We understand that now, more than ever, ensuring your property is maintained and fully operational is vital for the future. Our maintenance and support services are fully operational, including the ability to continue with planned maintenance activity and respond to call outs

At all times, we’re following Public Health England and Government guidelines. Our engineers don’t require public transport to travel to sites and have been provided with all relevant PPE, including face masks, gloves and ample hand sanitizer to utilise before, during and after site visits. We would ask that customers respect social distancing when our engineers attend.

Our team

Our business continues, supported by a dynamic team working online. Time and again throughout this crisis, our people have shown an incredible capacity for adapting to the challenges that have been thrown their way.

Personally, I would like to thank every single member of our team for the way that they have kept each other going. It’s reassuring to see we’re still maintaining our passion and the supportive culture that’s at the heart of everything we do. And to our clients and supply chain, thank you for your cooperation and collaboration.

Wishing you all the very best. Stay safe - we’re all in this together.
