Congratulations to our client Nicoll Curtin who relocate to their new Zurich office later this week.
Having delivered their Fenchurch Street office earlier in 2016, we were delighted to jump on a plane and meet with them to discuss their plans and see how we could best support them. As with their London office, Nicoll Curtin had outgrown their previous office space and wanted to create the best environment to help them retain and empower their talented staff.
Our project management team were first on board, helping Nicoll Curtin assess the suitability of different offices, including feasibility studies and space plans. Once the office space was chosen, we liaised with local architects to create detailed plans and then interviewed contractors having supplied a drawings package and specification of works for them to price against. To ensure the smooth delivery of their new office, we appointed a contractor who had experience in the building. Throughout the project we had weekly conference calls with all parties, attended site at key milestone meetings and were there on the project handover.
Creating synergy with their London office was key so the same office designer who had worked on their Fenchurch Street office stepped up to work with the Zurich team. Whilst developing mood boards and visuals, we ensured we didn’t simply replicate the design, but instead used a few key design elements such as signage and glass manifestation. We then enhanced that with office design features including a large digital wallpaper showing a Zurich cityscape scene. We also advised on which office furniture would best complement our office design.
