Furniture Project Manager

We are looking for a proactive Project Manager for our Furniture team, focusing on the quality of our service and financial performance. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Managing all aspects of furniture installation on projects to ensure that installations are completed on time and snag free.
  • Co-ordinating with internal and external project managers to ensure that furniture installation on projects is as smooth as possible.
  • Responsibility for cost consolidation, invoicing the client and achieving a positive financial close out of the project.
  • Responsibility for checking detailed cost plans for each furniture order to enable full profit reconciliation on a line by line basis.
  • Review and maintain safety policy related to supply and installation of Office Furniture.
  • Responsibility for maintaining relationships with a core base of furniture manufacturers in order to provide a depth of product range sufficient to service Lime clients.
  • Obtaining maximum discount structures from all suppliers.
  • Review Project Management systems and amend/implement as necessary.
  • Providing a post-installation audit to ensure furniture specification, installation and furniture quality meet with client expectations.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers to ensure that their future business is retained by Peldon Rose.
  • Attending client meetings and new furniture client pitches, where appropriate
  • Team player, happy to take on roles that are not always part of the job description
  • Flexibility to support other roles within the team as and when necessary

Skills and experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • A strong eye for detail
  • Proactive, able to prioritise own workload
  • Team player, happy to take on roles that are not always part of the job description

Reporting

Your line manager will be Richard Sanderson and you will report to him on all matters relating to the furniture business.
