As a global integrated marketing communications agency, Racepoint Global’s office needs to reflect their collaboration skills and creativity.
Their new workspace needed to celebrate their creativity and inspire staff, so the brief called for a vibrant and refreshing office with generous breakout spaces. Having already completed two office design and fit-out projects for clients in Metro Building in Hammersmith, Racepoint Global were keen to draw on our extensive knowledge of the building when they selected the second floor as their new home.
With their head offices based in the United States, global time zones played the biggest challenge in this project. Concise communication with patience between both parties allowed for their new workspace to be delivered on time and to their practical budget.
To maximise Racepoint’s budget, we carried out a furniture audit was to ensure that the existing furniture was reused where possible to maximise their expenditure in other key areas, such as their eye-catching and welcoming front of house.
To encourage collaboration among staff, we installed magnetic, writable walls in the open plan office. This allows Racepoint staff complete freedom of creativity to come together to share ideas. Implementing a design to promote wellbeing in the office and encourage staff to take a break from their desks, we installed a well-equipped tea point with a yellow metro tiles and standing meeting tables with stools and bright feature light shades.
We also worked closely with their marketing team to create bespoke industry specific graphics for their manifestations - allowing the new workspace to have a sense of their identity about them. Racepoint are now happy neighbours with Harkand Global and Bazaarvoice in Metro Building.
