Calibrate Law is a multi-disciplinary practice which was set up in 2017 and has been rapidly expanding. Their ambitions for continued growth and desire to establish themselves in the City meant that they needed to relocate to their own office. As a young company leaving serviced office space, there was a great opportunity to develop a physical representation of Calibrate Law with their office environment. Their new 4,600 sq ft office in 5 Aldermanbury Square occupies the sublet space of one of our other clients, Nordea.
As soon as you enter reception, you get a sense of their modern, professional approach. We wanted to showcase Calibrate Law’s identity, so we have introduced a moss wall and concrete effect materials to give the space a more contemporary look and feel. The decision to use natural materials and biophilic design was to show an intentional shift away from the more traditional timber finishes you would expect to see in a London law firm.
We have allowed enough flexibility in the space for a 50% growth in headcount as well as extra space to invite clients to the office. The large, open tea point gives them the opportunity to host seminars and presentations within the office. Having this added flexibility to host events gives them better scope to entertain their high-net worth clientele and enhance the way the business operates.
