We’re delighted to finally share with you our most exciting event to date: Sustainability Sprints. This pioneering event will run over three days and culminating with a live reveal and audience Q&A held in Central London.
We’ve carefully assembled a taskforce of industry leaders and sustainability advocates to participate in a Sprint, where we’ll aim to prove that a planet-first approach to design and build is not just possible, but achievable in the present day.
The Sustainability Sprints scenario looks at the idea of a 15-Minute City in relation to a fictional workplace; By building cities that offer hyper-proximity, we can reduce the need for long distance commutes to the workplace, minimising emissions produced by the working population and providing residents with valuable time to spend as they wish.
The Sprint team will consider more than the basics; we’ll base the requirements on a theoretical business, and give them the information they need to decide what’s best for the business, it’s people and surrounding communities. Not only that, they’ll need to consider location, environment and materials in line with the concept of the 15-Minute City and sustainability guidelines.
The end goal is to create a sustainable workplace that supports the 15-Minute City ethos.
Our Sprints team is a powerful concoction of business leaders, blue sky thinkers and sustainability advocates, who together have the knowledge and expertise to create a truly unique, and valuable workplace that holds a mutualistic relationship with its occupiers, its surrounding community and the planet as a whole.
Our panellists don’t just have experience in commercial property; from working with an environmentally conscious product to pioneering change in their own organisations and beyond, they’re the perfect taskforce for bringing a sustainable future to life.
