Peldon Rose is proud to support Time to Talk day on Thursday 4th February 2016 which is an annual awareness raising event organised by Time to Change – Mind and Rethink Mental Illness’ campaign to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination.
On the day, Peldon Rose will be taking part in a number of activities on the day to help raise awareness and funds for Mind and better mental wellbeing. Watch out for more news soon…!
According to Mind, each year 1 in 6 workers will experience a mental health problem but many people are too afraid to talk about it, so are losing out on the support from those around us. On Time to Talk day 2016, Mind want us to join people up and down the country by starting conversations about mental health. Join Mind and get the nation talking about mental health to help end the misconceptions around it.
To take part in Time to Talk day, Mind suggest organising a team tea break to take 5 minutes to have a conversation about mental health. You can order materials including posters, postcards, tip cards and teabags to promote your tea break. Just make sure you place your order before 29th January. Extra downloadable resources are available on the Time to Change website, including conversation starters, posters and email banners.
Mind ask us to share our experiences by logging our conversation on the Time to Talk day interactive map and being lovely tweeters using #timetotalk on the Twitter machine.
Wellbeing in the workplace, especially mental wellbeing, is important for every business. Therefore, try to take some time out this year for Time to Talk day on Thursday 4th February 2016.
