On site news: Peldon Rose office refurbishment

26 June 2018. News.

We are excited to announce that we are now nine weeks into the office refurbishment of our HQ at Sterling House in Wimbledon; an important milestone in our 30-year history. We are proud to own the building which has become more of a home than simply our office. The office has helped give our people the security, comfort and pride that they need to perform at the highest level which has resulted in our business being recognised as one of the market leaders in our sector.

Creating a space that supports our growing business

Our vision for the office refurbishment is to create an environment which inspires people and allows us to continue attracting industry-leading talent and refresh our working environment to better reflect our honest family values. We will introduce new meeting spaces, designated wellbeing spaces for yoga and a new all hands space. It will be a physical representation of our professionalism and culture, showcasing our personality and passion for the work we do.

The building has now been fully stripped out, including the lift and the roof. The office refurbishment will see us add another floor onto the building, which will be a replica of what we already have on the second floor, growing our office space from 7,212 sq ft to 10,086 sq ft. This investment in our office is a commitment to continue the improvement of our working environment and to practice what we preach to our clients.

A complete renovation

The building will be delivered with a full Cat A refurbishment, comprised of new WCs, raised floors, new metal pan ceilings, new LED lights, new Cat 6 data cabling, a new lift, new windows throughout and a new heating, ventilation and cooling system. The Cat B fit out will create interest and intrigue in the space, and we will use the ground floor as a window into the business.

As a business, we do not see our headcount increasing above 100, so this is an opportunity to design our workspace to enhance key areas in the company, rather than creating more space to add in more people. This refurbishment will improve the way in which our project teams collaborate, as well as provide our people with designated areas for pitch preparation as well as quiet, concentration spaces. It is a very exciting time for Peldon Rose and we will keep giving you updates throughout the course of the project.
