A positive, technological shift is taking place in financial markets and XTX Markets has recognised this. That’s why they have taken the decision to move to a new, cutting-edge office space in the heart of King's Cross in January. They are now much more likely to be rubbing shoulders with a Googler or a fashion student than they are a financier or a banker in their new home. Their new office is in the R7 building, Handyside Street and provides 22,000 sq ft of space on the 8th & 9th floors, with breath taking views of the London skyline.

XTX Markets Reception

XTX Markets are one of the world's leading market makers utilising the latest technology to drive their business. It means that their needs and expectations for a London HQ office, if not entirely differently, are certainly more aligned with a leading technology business than that of a more traditional bank or financial services business.

To create this environment we are delivering a Cat B fit out of the space on the 8th and 9th floors with a design concept that combines the Victorian industrial design from the surrounding area with modern fittings and advanced technology, providing a backdrop to the main core of their business; trading.

With the constant search for leading talent, the new office will attract the top coders, developers, statisticians and mathematicians that would usually be heading to Google or Facebook rather than the more traditional competitors such as large multi-national banks or boutique hedge funds. From a showcase comms room through to digital installations where users can interact with their space, this office relocation is a statement of intent.
