Ski trip to Sauze D'Oulx

09 February 2018. News.

The Peldon Rose annual ski trip this year took us to Sauze D'Oulx in the Italian Alps. There were 36 members of staff who flew off together to the ski resort which is part of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, covering over 400km of piste with over 72 lifts. Sauze is well-known for producing world class skiers, snowboarders and Olympians, so many of our talented team felt quite at home at the venue for the 2006 Turin Olympics!

The trip was once again organised by Steve Williams, our Technical Design Director, who did an excellent job of taking care of every detail of the trip, ably supported by others in the office. As with previous years, the trip attracted a range of skiers and snowboarders including many people who were trying the sport for the first time. One such beginner was Charlotte Bradney, Project Designer, who won the award for Best Beginner.

Charlotte says “My first ever ski trip was a fantastic experience. I had two lessons which were great and then the more experienced skiers helped guide me and other beginners down the slopes so we could gain more confidence to take on the more challenging blue runs. The après-ski was also great fun of course! Thank you to the team who helped arrange and manage the trip. Peldon Rose is a great company to work for and I loved spending time with everyone. I can’t wait for skiing again in 2019!”
