If you have walked down Leadenhall Street recently, you would have probably noticed an unmistakable blue glow emanating from the windows of the property at 52-56 Leadenhall Street. This property is the new home to Nexus Underwriting who have relocated to the 17,000 sq ft property split across the ground and first floor of the building.
After stripping the building back to shell and core and fitting the new mezzanine level and staircase, we have completed phase 1 of the Nexus Underwriting project. The office design has been a huge transformation to the space and has modernised the look and feel of the space to match the sleek, professional brand image of Nexus. The most striking feature of the new ground floor design is the suspended meeting room and the new staircase connecting the two office floors. The tinted blue glazing creates a striking centrepiece to the office to serve as an impressive shopfront to the business, providing a prestigious brokers lounge and client entertainment space.
The completion of the first phase means we will expect to handover the second phase of the project in early January. The second phase includes the desking areas, breakout space and tea points which are positioned around the original atrium to brighten the space and showcase the architectural details of the building. Keep an eye out for the full case study coming in the early part of 2018.
