Following on from the success of last year, Peldon Rose are delighted to be working with Kingston University again on the Broadening Horizons programme.
We recently welcomed 10 talented students along to our offices in Wimbledon to kick off the two projects which give them a window into the world of SMEs and enables them to develop essential skills which will help them find a job once they leave university.
To help create a well-rounded project team with differing skills, the students are selected from a range of courses and disciplines and work alongside the businesses to gain practical working knowledge and experience into the challenges and opportunities businesses are currently facing.
The students will be working in two separate teams on different topics as they immerse themselves in the world of office design and build. We have challenged them to become experts and gain an insight into the how the office is developing and evolving with the arrival of the latest trends, technology and working styles.
Benjamin Murray will lead one of the projects and said: “We are excited to be working with Kingston University again as Peldon Rose really benefitted from last year’s projects – we have gone on to implement a number of the student recommendations. The range of opinions and viewpoints that the students offer are very insightful and challenge us, as a business, to analyse the way we work and what we do in order to keep evolving.”
