Aside from being awarded a Best Company rating for six years in a row, and being listed as a Sunday Times 100 Best Small Company To Work For for three years in a row, we have also been awarded the Mayor of London Healthy Workplace Charter Commitment. Great offices

Ok, so that’s a given for an office design and fit-out consultant, but it’s good to know that we practice what we preach. We trust our staff to choose where to work from according to the type of work they are doing. Our agile working environment frees staff from their desk and maximises communication and collaboration.

Great energy

Peldon Rose has a weekly running club, badminton club, cycling club, keep fit club, triathlon club and four shared staff memberships to the local gym. We believe that people who play together, work better together.

A team of staff from across the business arrange our monthly social events. St Patrick’s Day, St George’s Day or Wimbledon tennis – there’s always an excuse to get together and make new connections.

Charity begins at home

Giving back to the community has always been an important part of our company ethos. Over the years, we have supported a variety of charities - these have been selected based on causes close to our employee’s hearts. In 2020, we achieved three-star rating in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For, where 95% of employees agreed that Peldon Rose actively encourages charitable activities.   

Over the years we have run marathons, tackled Tough Mudder courses, and held multiple fundraisers to support national charities and organisations including Alzheimer’s Society, Comic Relief, FARA, Get Kids Going, Macmillan Cancer Support, MIND, Pancreatic Cancer UK, and MS Society.  

Ski trip!

A holiday shouldn’t be a reason for joining a company, but it’s a great example of how we create a strong team bond. Experienced skiers partner with absolute beginners, getting them up on their feet and safely down the slopes. This ‘ski buddy’ initiative has proven incredibly effective at building bonds which last long after the skiing has finished. Even though staff pay back the holiday over 12 months, each ski trip is well-attended and often over-subscribed. It generates an immensely positive work environment when you enjoy both working and playing together.
