The Sales Researcher will collate sales leads into credible and meaningful information that the team uses to touch base and contact prospective clients. The information comes in to the business in many different formats and from various sources, and will need to be compiled using MS Excel and recorded on our company CRM system. All leads need to be researched fully via means such as LinkedIn, company websites, internet searches and press articles to aid the Telesales team to make cold calls and booking end user meetings. The team works hard to turn this information into meetings with prospective clients and is therefore an important area for generating new business for our company. The Sales Researcher will generate their own leads from newspapers, lease events, social media and identifying companies of interest.
The Business Development Team is responsible for Telesales and Networking and they sit within the overall sales team. This team generates leads and appointments with end user clients, business partners and any other persons of interest who drive sales for our business. The Business Development Manager has overall responsibility for managing the Business Development Executive and Sales Researcher roles.
Ideally, you will have strong office experience and excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Use of a CRM system previously or Linked In for research is advantageous but not essential. Common sense, resilience and the ability to prioritise information are a must.
