The Leverhulme Trust’s offices needed refurbishment to allow their staff to work in a clean, bright and peaceful environment. They also wanted to incorporate Scandinavian trends into their new office.
The main challenge we faced with the Leverhulme office design was that they wanted to stay working in the same place while the works happened around them. Working in-situ requires a detailed preparation and planning procedure. As a result of this, the project was heavily managed on site in order to minimise the disruption to our client.
Our specialist team have worked on many in-situ projects and by maintaining strong communication with our clients, we were able to deliver the project without having to move staff around multiple times.
To create the Leverhulme Trust office, we had to carry out full Cat A and B works. This meant stripping everything out and creating a completely new environment. From this foundation, we were then able to create the Scandinavian look. By using natural timbers, recycled carpets and Nordic designs. This brightened the workplace and by maximising the use of glass, the office space is now a bright, harmonious and open environment.
Our designers aimed to create a workspace that would reflect the company identity - a highly detailed, peaceful and calm space. Their new environment reflects the timeless nature of the brand and the subtle flashes of colour, textures and finishes bring together a fresh environment. We celebrated the The Leverhulme Trust brand through manifestation, framed artwork and graphics which featured key moments from their heritage.
Our office furniture team worked in partnership with design to create an office interior which was very understated, elegant and practical, complimenting their brand identity. They provided furniture throughout the office including bookcases to house their extensive collection and storage cupboards to help The Leverhulme Trust maintain a tidy and uncluttered office.
