Ski trip to La Clusaz

16 January 2019. News.

The annual Peldon Rose ski trip this year took 34 of us to the traditional mountain village of La Clusaz in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.

The French ski resort has a small-village charm and 132km of ski slopes which cater for all abilities from beginners to intermediates and plenty of challenging runs for those thrill-seeking experienced skiers and snowboarders amongst us.

As with previous years, our Technical Design Director, Steve Williams, lead the way researching and organising our trip to ensure we had a good value work ski trip which catered for everyone.

Every year we have people from across our business who come together to help each other improve their skiing and snowboarding abilities. There were plenty of beginners again this year who had lessons in the morning and then were assisted by their friends in the afternoon to improve their abilities and take on more challenging runs. Benjamin Murray, Head of Marketing, had never skied before joining Peldon Rose but is now a regular skier.

Benjamin says “The annual work ski trip is a highlight for me every year. It embodies our culture, values and our goal of creating a work/love balance. Our strong family values are made with trips like this and it makes us passionate about working together and helping one another be the best we can be. I really appreciate the more advanced skiers helping me improve year-on-year and I love returning the favour by helping the novice skiers build their skills and confidence.”
