Radio interview: Workplace hurdles in the summer

17 August 2016. News.

Following our recent summer survey, Benjamin Murray, Head of Marketing at Peldon Rose, spoke to Share Radio to discuss what makes for a happy office in the summer months. This includes how businesses should offer more flexibility, respect and trust for their staff to create a more productive and healthy workplace.

Benjamin highlighted that in the summer months in particular, people naturally want to be more active, healthy and social and if the work environment is constrained and prescriptive in how you work, people won’t like it. They want flexibility, variety, social interaction and trust. During the Olympics, for example, staff should be allowed to watch their country compete on a communal TV and trusted to do so responsibly.
